Shopping

Prices are listed in US currency. We accept payments through Paypal, as well as credit card payments.

Most of our products are available via download only, unless it is clearly stated that the product will be sent to you via standard shipping. For downloadable products, a link to download your products will be sent to you immediately after your purchase transaction is completed; your link will remain active for 7 days. Physical products will be shipped to you within 1 business day of purchase; you should expect to receive your product(s) 7 to 10 business days after your initial purchase.

Downloadable products contain high-quality images. While we try to keep file sizes smaller than 50 MB, please realize that it may take some time to download each file, especially if you are on dial-up. The files download in a zipped format, so you will need a program such as Winzip (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to "unzip" your purchase(s).

Designers' Terms of Use

Each designer maintains the copyright for his/her designs, and each designer has his/her own terms of use file, which is included in the zipped download of the products (or with your shipment, should you be receiving a physical product). You will also find a link to each designer's terms of use by viewing his/her profile page. Should you have any questions regarding a specific designer's terms of use, please contact the designer directly using the email provided on his/her profile page.

All products come with a single-user license and MAY NOT be shared with others nor re-distributed in any way. This is illegal. By purchasing products from Polka Dot Plum, you are agreeing that the product is the property of the designer and licensed to you as a single user for personal use.

Many of our products are available for commercial use; these products are in the Commercial Use category. Each designer maintains his/her own commercial terms of use--please be sure you read these to insure you are complying with each designer's terms. Additional license fees may be required--if so, this will be spelled out in the product description. Commercial-use products are also subject to a single-user license--you may not share or redistribute the products.

Quality Standards

Our products are created by some of the very best designers in the industry, with much attention given to detail and quality.

All of our graphics are created at 300 dpi. Backgrounds are always high quality .jpg files. Elements are created in .png format to maintain transparency. Both of these file types are compatible with PC's and Mac's, as well as most imaging software packages used for scrapbooking.

Most of our products do not include drop shadows, allowing you the flexibility to add and adjust your own shadows so they are consistent with whatever light source angle you choose. Pre-shadowed elements are denoted as such in the product descriptions.

Forum and Gallery

Please feel free to join our community and participate in the forums, where you can receive news and updates, participate in challenges, ask questions, and network with fellow scrapbookers. Please read the forum guidelines before posting.

Visit our gallery to see layouts created with Polka Dot's Plums products. Feel free to upload your own layouts and share with others your beautiful creations--we love to see what you've created with our designs. As we would like our gallery to showcase our designers' products and provide inspiration using their gorgeous designs, we ask that you only upload layouts with a majority of Polka Dot Plum products (except in the case of layouts created for challenges--you do not have to have PDP products on your layout in order to post it).

Backups

Polka Dot Plum cannot be held responsible for data loss due to computer problems. Please be certain to back up your files so that your Polka Dot Plum products are not permanently deleted.

We will maintain your order history for 30 days. In the event that you do lose data, as well as your backups, within this 30-day period, please contact customer service and we will gladly reactivate your download links. If the 30-day period has lapsed, requests for reactivation of download links will be subject to administrative fee. Please bear in mind that we may not be able to reset links after the 30-day period.
